1.0 [Intro]
This is just a guide i made that explains how to safely pierce yourself. I have made a video of when i did it with my finger but it is really low quality. Refer to section 4 for the link.
2.0 [Set Up]
Supplies needed: - 1 Saftey pin
- 2 Hydrogen Peroxide bottles
- Ice (preferably cubed)
- Lighter/gas stove
- Cooking Tongs or Pliers
- A small potato
- Paper towels
- Bandaids (If your going to chicken out)
How to Sterilize your peircing
First wash wherever your piercing yourself with water and soap. Also wash the area you will be working in to minimize possible bacteria infection. Sterilize the safety pin by heating it red hot with your lighter/gas stove. Make sure to hold it with the cooking tongs or pliers so as to not burn yourself. Once red hot place on a paper towel and allow it to cool. Now sterilize the ring or what ever it is that you wish to insert into the piercing by pouring Hydrogen Peroxide over it.
3.0 [Actually doing it]
- Find the part of your body that you want to pierce.
- Prick it a bit with the needle to see if it is going to be worth it.
- Rub the hydrogen peroxide on the spot.
- Place Ice on the spot until it's numb.
- Place the small potato at the exit point of your planned piercing. This is so you don't accidentally stab yourself with the needle.
- Push needle into the part you want to pierce. It's easier to get it through the first part of skin then it is to get it out the exit of the piercing. It will bleed a bit once it is fully pierced don't worry this is normal.
- Now insert the Ring or object into the hole. Be careful when doing this as the inside hasn't hardened yet and you get the feeling of nearly passing out when you miss and it goes the wrong way.
And there you go you now have a self pierced body part. Were not done yet though, you don't want to have it get infected after all that hard work do you?
To keep away infection rub the wound with hydrogen peroxide every morning and night. You have to leave the object in for about a year for it to stay pierced.
