[Guide] How to check if your Virus scanner is working!
If you are wondering if your virus scanner actually works, all you need to do is the following:
Step 1 Right click on your desktop > New > Text document ( it doesn't matter what you name it) Step 2 Copy the text below into the document you've just created  X5O!P%@AP[4\PZX54(P^)7CC)7}$EICAR-STANDARD-ANTIVIRUS-TEST-FILE!$H+H* Step 3 Once you've done that click file > save If your virus scanner is working it should pick it up, if it doesn't then manually scan the file for the virus! Note - this is not a real virus, its just to check if your virus scanner is working or not ..Gully
