Getting Fonts
Step #1: You can get you fonts from any font website. Here are some of the better one's I know about, they all are quite decent for the most part, along as they are free;
www.dafont.com,
www.1001freefonts.com, and
www.abstractfonts.com. Those are just 3 good one's but im sure there are many more than those. Ok once at one of these websites (I will be showing
www.dafont.com). If you want to look at each letter of the font type, click the font (highlighted in blue) and you will be brought to the font listings page. Once you have chosen your font there should be a small box reading "Download PC/ Mac OS X" (pointed to, in blue) click that small box. This one is just an example font, you don't have to choose this one, choose which ever one you want.
Step #2: Once you have clicked "Download PC/ Mac OS X", then you should come to a screen named "File Download". On this screen you should choose the option "Save". If you don't choose "Save" then this process won't work right, so don't click "Open" (highlighted in blue). Now the file should begin to download. Another screen will pop up reading "Save As", you should save the file as a custom name that you want, or just save it as it shows up (easiest and simplest way). Now choose the "Save" option. Now once you have done that, let the file complete it's downloading.
Step #3: Now you should come to a new screen reading "Download Complete". In this make sure you check the box this way you don't have all the extra pop up's. Then choose the box "Open". This will lead us to our next step.
Step #4: Then a new screen should pop up with the font name which you choose. Ex. Mine was "zupagargonizer_t". Now choose the option "Extract all files", Then you should come to the Extraction Wizard. Click "Next" this will extract the files. Make sure you check the box in the next screen so that the Text file will come up. Then click the option "Finish".
Step #5: Now go to your desktop, right click, and then click "New" then "Folder" then make a folder named "Fonts". After this go to your desktop and go to "Start" then "Search". The click all files and folders and type in the word "Fonts". Then wait till you see the document which is shown below. Make sure you have'nt xed the extracted text.
Step #6: Now make sure the folder with the extracted files is up. Then click the font with the 2 T's on it, and drag it into the Fonts folder. Then it should install and it will be in your fonts on photoshop, word, and word processor.
