I have good reason to suspect that someone has found out how to decrypt the account information in the clients settings. The client has been updated so that until I have added a new way to secure the accounts, you will not be able to use it, and all settings will be purged.

If anybody is wondering how I am sure about this, my own account has been hacked, but I have recovered it.

I have updated the client so that you can now set a password which to encrypt you account info with.

We advise that everyone who uses/used Fire Client to change their Runescape password ASAP.

yeah thats right its all safe now, but i'd just change your password just incase they got old ones but its safe again, im using it and its fine

I advise that everyone who uses the client sets a secure password. Check this thread for information on how to set it up.
