The Issue With the Rep System
As you know, they rep system "isn't working" for some users. The cause of this is rather obvious.
Anyone that joined before the rep system was added had a rep of 0. With that being said, I will explain how the rep system is weighted.
The higher your reputation level, the more reputation someone receives when you "+rep" them. Likewise, the lower your reputation level, the LESS reputation someone receives when you "+rep" them.
If you didn't figure it out by now, what is happening is simple: If you have 0 rep, and +rep someone, you do not change their reputation level at all. You simply add "0" to their reputation.
As you can see in that image, the reputation I received for that post was "even" since Richard, having a reputation of 0, added 0 to my rep, my rep was the same as before.
I hope this is understandable, I tried to make it as un-confusing as possible. This was rather obvious, surprised no one noticed sooner :P
I will talk to Richard about a few ways to fix this. Might come down to Mods getting high rep, so that it can be evenly distributed etc, we will work something out. For the time being, just keep using the Rep system like normal.
Thanks,

EDIT:
Mods are getting REP and are going to be responsible for kick-starting the REP system. Richard has just gone in and fixed this.
MODS: Give rep where rep is due so that we can get this thing off the ground!
