Default Big Changes
This is a follow-up of this thread: http://www.rsforums.org/forums/rsf-n...-proposal.html (Still very open for discussion.) This thread will contain a change-by-change log of what is going on.

July 4th, 2009

Minor staff changes

  • Eskimo Bob has been demoted as GFX Mod due to inactivity.
  • Stephen has been demoted as Global Moderator due to inactivity and lack of moderator logs when active.
  • There will be more staff changes later (promotions rather than demotions) when it is discussed between the current staff. Please note: If you ask, or even mention, you wanting a position you will no longer even be considered regardless of who you are.
  • RSF is now know as "Random Stuff Forums". The name seems much more fitting.


July 5th, 2009
  • Archived every post in most sections that was over 90 days old.
  • Started to remove/hide forums that have no purpose and are never used.
  • Reputation System overhauled.
    - All Reputation was deleted.
    - After every 500 posts you will gain 1 rep power.
    - After every 10 rep points you are given you will gain 1 rep power.
    - Users must have 1 post and 1 rep power for the rep they give out to count towards anyone.
    - You can give rep 6 times in a 24 hour period.
    - You must give rep to three other users before adding rep to the same person again.
    I think that is all for now, this will change when need be.
  • Many forums merged together, child boards removed, boards moved and clean up done. The forum is much less cluster-fucked now.
