SCAR Script/Guide Contest!

To get the SCAR section more active, some of the other staff an I have organized a contest!

So how will this work?

Similar to Phaethon’s Misc Guide Contest:

Over a 1 month time period, users will submit guides, and scripts into the SCAR section. Users who prove themselves to be worthy, will receive a place on our list.

Requirements:

Scripts:

Any user who wishes to participate, must share 5 new scripts with the community in the SCAR script section. There are many scripts out there, but scripts can only be posted one time! Make sure you test the scripts that you post! If you script does not work, the thread will be locked.

Script Testers:

We will have official script tester to test all script posted. World Domination, and I will choose these people. A script tester must approve all scripts before they are eligible.

Guides:

To be eligible for the contest, users must also post at least one guide, which will in some way benefit SCAR users. These guides can be telling users how to edit lines, or how to make scripts.

So the requirements again are: At least one guide, and 5 new scripts to the community, which are verified.


Rules:

Users can only submit 1 entry!

Any registered member of RSF can enter. (Except the judges)

The guides must be:

GOOD, easily understood, useful, and overall well done.

The scripts must work, and be useful.

Only SCAR guides, and Runescape scripts will be accepted.

Guides must be original! You cannot rip a guide from another person.

You do not have to be to owner of the script to post it, but you must give credit to the creator.


Reward:

This is the best part of the contest! There will be a first place, second place, and third place prize. The prizes consist of RS2 gp. It will work like this.

First place: 750k
Second place: 250k
Third place: 100k

How the applications will work:

Each person who has completed the requirements, must send a PM to either Zypur or World Domination. If the judge you sent to finds everything in order, then you will be added to the list.

The PM should look like this:

Title: (your names)’s Contest application

Message: This is my application for the SCAR contest. My guide(s) can be located here: (link) And here are the scripts I posted : (5+ links)

Your applications will be judged by how helpful your guides are, and how usefull your scripts finds are.

No offence to anyone but why do people that are lets say trusted get all the ranks without having to do anything like the Scar tester rank they probably couldnt have a clue how to test a script or even edit one & why can you just become a script tester jut because your chosen & have not proved anything yet you have to write a outrageous amount of guides to get the guide writer rank ?

Im sorry to burst your bubble but proper scar scripters will not write a good detailed script in srl for a measly 750k it takes weeks of making & testing.

They were chosen because we thought they would be good at what we wanted them to do. Also, we tried to choose people who are kind, don't go ranting bout why they didn't get a rank, showing they are obviously jealous, and trying to act like they know everything. You were originally one of the ones chosen until we started reading some of your posts and realized you didn't deserve it.

Most people are over-thinking the work needed. No one needs to write scripts if they don't wish to. All you need to do is find 5 working scripts, that haven't been posted yet. Simple, right?
