There is still hope.
Please, everyone is jumping to the worst conclusion after only a few hours of the announcement.
The game has not yet been ruined, they said January 1st 2007. There is a reason for this, maybe they want to see people's reactions first? With the amount of negative feedback on this idea, I'm almost sure that they'll modify this. Not all hope is lost. This community will not be shut down or die. Yeah like richard said there is other people dissatisfied with the updates. Hopefully all this negative feedback makes jagex realize something.

I highly doubt anything is going to change very much. Look at all the other times when Jagex fucked up with bad updates,and there were riots, many pissed off people, many negative outcomes; and nothing changed. I really highly doubt much will change at all.

world domination what are you talking about? what about when they changed pst control, there were riots. nothing has changed. and when they banned swiftswitch (or whatever the hell that world switcher was called)

i believe something will be done. once all rthe people who bought pins to sell them dont buy them anymore jagex will be the real losers. so they will probably reverse the updates once they realise who the real losers are.

Wrong, all hope is lost - Jagex is so obsessed with cheating. I don't know any other game that has "mods" but theirs.
