Poll: How important is forum appearance? (and general information)
Hello All,
For those of you who don't already know we plan to introduce a new forum skin by January 27th 2008 (possibly sooner). We want to know how important the appearance of the forum skin is to you. Do you care how we look? There are factors such as bandwidth, and how easily it is to modify and expand which must be taken into consideration. Right now, I'm thinking of something simple like the official Runescape forums (the concept, colour-scheme, yet completely different). However, it's only an idea at this point. Frequently Asked Questions: Will the Chestnut theme still be available? It's unlikely. When we will get the new skin? By, or on January 27th 2008. Could I contribute my ideas? Sure, send me a private message. Has development started already? No. Will we be given previews before the release? Unfortunately not, the only people entitled to previews before the release will be the administrators. The moderator's may get a 2-day preview to test it out and find any bugs. Thanks, Richard

Matt showed me something a while ago, not sure if it is what you plan to have RSF look like. I feel special!
 The appearance, to me, is everything. One of the reasons I dislike Sythe and Fagex is because they're dark. I like RSF, because it is light  I also liked Kwickfix as opposed to wTalk because wTalk was dark, Kwickfix was light.Yeppp.

Hmm.. this sounds good, i was wondering when we were going to get a new skin.
Is this skin going to be darker and will we have to recreate the ranks??

It's unlikely we'll use the skin Matt showed you BloodRayne.
It will most likely be darker, but easy on the eyes. ( Similar to official Runescape forums colour scheme, possibly ). There will be new rank images.

Please, read the poll question! The poll isn't IF we're getting a new skin, it's asking HOW important is forum appearance too you.

Yes, the appearance is everything. If the forum looks shitty, then no one will really get a good impression when they go to it, like Fail and Fagex for example.
