For or Against Immigration?

Are you for or against illegal immigration..?

I have to do this speech on moral dilemmas, and i picked illegal immigration..
and so now i have to make a 20 minute speech and debate with my partner..
This whole week, i get to memorize...

I picked for illegal immigration (im screwed)

For Illegal Immigration-

1. Take away all borders,
2. Be a democrat and let the horde of people in
3. Don't have to pay for survaillance
4. Everyone can be free, and experience what we have in America/ or w.e.
5. More tacos and burritos for us in U.S.A.
6. Immigrants pay sales tax
7. less spent on lawn care and house keeping, cause immigrants do it for less
8. The down and dirty jobs are filled
9. etc.

Against-
1. Cost of health care
2. Population control
3. too many tacos/ burritos
4. Taxes wasted
5. Im a republican
6. etc.. i forget..

Against, and the reason is quite personal also (I'm not speaking of the public or on any terms of Democracy). My Parents worked, studied damn hard to get here and start a living (They had to go to Japan's universities and study there while away from their families while living in horrid student shacks provided by the universities just to earn an opportunity to work or study in the U.S.), it just doesn't feel right to me for people just to cross over without any of those troubles said above.

As far as the population control, gosh isn't it already bad enough? I don't quite mind that part.

EDIT: Plus, how do we know significant changes WON'T occur if illegal immigration were to be allowed? (e.g. Crime rates, economy, environmental issues etc etc)

Not every immigrant is a terrorist. Hell, I was an immigrant once too.
Legal sure, but I wasn't fleeing horrible circumstances.
I think (in Australia's case at least, being an island & all) people should be accepted. Checked out & registered of course, but still accepted.
Our government is forever going on about how multicultural we are, how we have an ageing population & that we are underpopulated. I really don't see why these desperate people are being treated like criminals & animals, when really they could help our economy & be very beneficial..
Also looking at the humanity side of things, it would save these people.
Most of the people that try to sneak into Australia are trying to escape war or poverty striken countries. Where's the crime in that?
