I agree with you, and from the quote above I have heard it explained in this way.
Weed puts some brain asleep, like your brain naturally does. When you need the that specific cell, which could be a name, memory or whatever your brain wakes that cell up. Although sometimes they do not wake up, and you forget that memory. Remember though your brain does both of these naturally anyways.

I believe Marijuana by putting your brain cells asleep allows you to calm down, and not be so focused on certain things in your life that
stress you.

Also, here are some things.

It takes 14 pounds of Marijuana to overdose, which is a godly amount which I deem impossible to consume/smoke.

Being addicted to marijuana is like being addicted to mountain biking or whatever. You're only "addicted" to the fun feeling you have when you smoke/bike.

- "The more you smoke, the more it takes you to get high", that statement is right AND wrong.. yes if you smoke every single day it does take more to get high, but only temporarily - you can always take a break for a week and then you will be getting high off 1 joint again
