Weed vs. Alcohol

I only drink with friends, and I've never gotten so drunk that I puke.

Weed is fine. People are always saying crap like "OH em gee it has like 3x the amount of tar in cigs, its sooo bad for your lungs omg im gonna go play maplestory". Seriously, if you EAT it then what is it bad for? Nothing. And you still get a high.

Weed is more fun then alchohol though, so I say Weed > Drinking.

Everything on CSi is complete and utter bullshit. They make up medical shit all the time, like "Oh em gees, look, I found a man's exploded theemur over here next to a hubcap from a wheel on a boat... this must mean kun-kun is the killer!!"

My uncle is a doctor and its fun watching CSI with him because anytime they mention anything medical related me explains how incorrect it is and we lul.

OK I have read so much bullshit in this thread that I had to register JUST to tell you everything you will need to know about weed.

I have been smoking weed for 15 years, I do not drink or smoke cigarettes very often.. just weed and I have a good life, I have a good paying job, and I am very smart.

Here are the facts:

- It is NOT addictive at all.

I have went an entire year smoking weed every couple days or more and then just STOPPED completely for 6 months

(You can get mentally addicted to the feeling when you are high, but mental addiction doesn't matter because you can get mentally addicted to ANYTHING)

- It is not bad for you at all, the smoke is the only thing that is bad for you however if you smoke using a bong, the bong water filters the smoke and cools it down making weed 150% safe

- It does not kill brain cells, do you really believe everything you hear from media?

Just think of it as temporarily disabling your brain cells, then after the high wears off then they are re-enabled... they have PROVED that it doesn't actually permanently damage your brain cells

- It is the safest drug there is.

- It is not a gateway drug, you are an idiot if you think this.. I have gone 15 years smoking weed and doing NO OTHER DRUGS

- "The more you smoke, the more it takes you to get high", that statement is right AND wrong.. yes if you smoke every single day it does take more to get high, but only temporarily - you can always take a break for a week and then you will be getting high off 1 joint again

All of the above information is 100% correct and accurate, none of it has been stated without any proof or personal experience so if you have no proof or never have smoked before then please, GTFO

Actually, tests have proven that unfiltered joints have the least amount of tar. And, you forgot to mention how THC actually promotes brain cell growth in the hippocampus region of the brain. It's the only part of the brain that keeps growing after adolescents. Of course, the amount of THC needed to make a noticeable difference is way too much to consume, but every little bit helps.
