Exactly. Hopefully Jagex will be retarded enough (they've proven themselves pretty worth) to overlook this.

Of course you know within the first 48 hours of them being released someone is going to complain about their account getting phished and an authenticator put on it.

And yeah Chase I found it funny because the way Blizzard advertises their authenticator, and the way Jagex advertises their authenticator is almost exactly the same.

The digital code is a six-digit numeric code that is produced when you press the button on the front of your Blizzard Authenticator. Each code is unique and is valid only once.

Also this is noteworthy:

What the hell does bank space have to do with security. "We are confident that your account will be secure so we will add more bank space". Honestly, they are ONLY going to include that as an incentive for the f2p noobs to buy it so they can make more money.

I wouldn't be surprised if it also came with a free 5 day subscription or something.

Jagex are so fucking stupid.
They're whoring every idea that comes out of Blizzard...

I've never even played WoW and I know this, also, Blizzard's games are so much better. (Diablo, Warcraft).

While that is perfectly true every other MMO out there is also whoring off of Blizzard.

It's kind of hard to compete with near-perfection though. Blizzard has such a strong background and such a massive fanbase that they are nearly invincible. The only other MMO that could possibly beat WoW in the near future is that star wars MMO.

Blizzard is an even bigger money whore then Jagex. When I subscribed to WoW I had it set up so that it too 15$ every month. a few months (10+) later I Decided to quit. At the time of canceling my subscription I hadn't even logged into WoW for all of the month, and my next month's subscription was supposed to be renewed the next day. When I cancled it though, they took the 15$ out TWO HOURS before I cancled. I contacted thier support and told them that I didn't even use the previous month's subscription, and was wondering if I could be refunded for the month that started two hours before that.

Of course I got rejected because they are fucking assholes.

The next big idea that Runescape is going to rip off of Blizzard is the trading card game. The trading card game will have certin codes on them that if you enter them in you could get some special in-game gear. The gear won't affect combat and it will act like random or holiday armor.

Orr phishers will just have an extra feature?

Enter your authentication code here:

And the password is immediately changed, that way it doesn't matter if you don't have the authenticator.

Smart. That seems obvious, but the stupidity of Runescape players never ceases to amaze me.

The fact that I always got the best results from a simple html login page instead of the whole home page, world list, etc, amazes me as well.
