User Education
Perhaps we should add a user education section. No other forum has one as of now and i'm sure it would help increase activity greatly. Now of course it would be a bit different from Fail.org's style of user education but yet as good.
There would be 2 positions. User educator and head user educator. The user educator's would have to post 1-2 guides per month to keep up the activity, weed out the inactive members and keep up the learning. The head user educator would have powers to lock, move and edit threads. It's up to the staff wether or not he shall be considered staff. He could also have a colored name which would look pretty legit.
Our section would have a few sections. On the first scale there would be a user education applications forum. This would be where you create your application to apply for the user educator's position. Then there would be 3 smaller unaccessible forums (only accessible by the 2 head user educator's, for moving applications) declined applications, pending applications and accepted applications. Then there would be a private user education section to talk about whatever amongst the user educators. Then lastly there would be a section where private voting could occur for the acception of a member into the user education spot.
Now for users receiving their ranks, a list of the accepted users will be pm'ed to Nathan so he can add the ranks to the new users welcomed. Just tell me what you think, I think that this would be great and give members a good place to share their knowledge and make RF much of a better forum. If you have any questions just post here.
*This was placed purposely in the intelligent discussion area because that's the region of people that will most likely par take in this.*
