User Knowledge Center
I would like to suggest a user knowledge center for RSF. I know I am only new, and it's expected that you will take my suggestion lightly, but, if you would like to entertain the idea a bit, I can go further into detail and perhaps provide a process and a setup. It's a great idea and something which would attract many members. I personally enjoy the guides sections on forums more than any other section. Another observation which I have made is that RSF has fourteen pages of guides and knowledgeable information, in the knowledge section. In this section members could post guides and have them viewed by the UKCTM's(User Knowledge Center Team Members) and they would create a poll based on the members guide. If this ordinary member's guide won the vote, it would be moved into the approved section, which only UKCTM's could post in. Now, you are probably wondering where these members would come from. It's simple. The members would have to follow a process to be appointed into the team. This is what I mean by further detail, I could provide a process. Then once the team was created they would begin there jobs. The section would need a head of the team though, to moves guides, lock guides and such. This person could be appointed, or could apply with a certain process and the multiple administrators and staff could vote on to chose who the head would be.
I know it's an idea...but I really think this could open some doors.

I like this idea. The User Knowledge Base section is pretty in active at the moment and, like you said, this could help us. I will bring this up to the other Admins and Staff and see what they think.

Why does have to MSN? Too secreto for the forums? If you don't want people to find out about something, post it at RSF.

Ahh! Much appreciated World Domination. The thing which I think will need to be implemented is the voting part. To get a head of the section you must apply by the process which is set forth and the staff vote on who they would like to induct based on the members level of intelligence and their guides. This way it's a unanimous decision and the person best fit for the job is appointed.

Your welcome. The other point which I would like to put forth is that I know RSF had something like this previously. But when someone has to write 12 guides to get a rank, they do it hastily. Once your done writing 12 guides your not going to want to write another for months. In this format it would be up and running. People who have been accepted basically have a job on the forum. People who have been accepted to the team would have to post guides bi weekly or monthly, keeping activity up. When you start something where a climax can be reach (such as your previous set up, the furthest you could go was get a rank) people will reach this then stop, because there is no use to continue writing guides. When you set the sky as the limit (such as this process where you can earn a rank and continue to write guides to hopefully become a head) people will continue to write guides aspiring to do their best, impress members, educate and strive to become a head member.

We had a little "rule" to keep people from just making 12 guides and then not writing anymore. I think we made them submit a guide like once a month or something like that.

That's smart but in this system you would have to do that but you'd also be voting on guides, critiquing others guides, and accepting/deny applicants with reasoning.

Some what...it would just be a different system. But it's a form of education so they will all be the same in some aspects.
