If you're going to infract a fellow young adult, maybe you should elaborate the details a bit? The current rules are outdated and need to be indeed outdated.

List Of Forbidden Things
• No WareZ
• No Fanboyism
• No Porn
• No Viruses
• No Non Official MMing or No Non Official Training/ers
• No linking to inappropriate websites
• No shock-site links
• No Advertising at all (This includes in Signatures) - This includes referral links!
• No Password Crackers or Phishing sites or any other method of scamming our users
• No Double Posting Anywhere

I'll take this for instance:

• If you can't advertise, why the hell can you post a link to another website?
  
• Why can YOU double post in the spam forum without being penalized?
  
• Why do the rules repeat themselves? Why not no linking rule, unless the staff has the approval to approve the link.
  
• Even though it could be a harmless site, the other site is getting more traffic, and RSF is stuck with less traffic.
  
• That's the small stuff ^, don't have to get frustrated about that, but bear in mind that it's still important.

The gravedigging rule is ridiculous right now, if you want to pickup forum activity, there should be gravedigging for an amount of time, until we start picking up activity. If you do not want to allow grave digging, have an auto-prune, or start RSF fresh, rather than use the older database. Everything is outdated anyways.

Word censors? What the hell? How can you penalize us for using freedom of speech? This is another point I shall get to later on in this sophisticated list of complaints.

Kids shouldn't be censored of their freedom of speech. It's in the amendments for fuck's sake. If you're not cursing anyone, than it should be a problem, unless it causes a riot, of course. If you want to get rid of forum drama, make a flame section, so ALL users can vent frustrations.

You expect RSF members to get along with everything. Lets take the emo situation. I flamed him because he's weird, and just a horrible person. Please don't take this as flame, but it's only my opinion, and it does indeed mean nothing.

I don't need to spell legibly, it's the internet for fuck's sake. Get rid of that rule.

One last thing, favoritism, I'll point out WD. Just because world domination is friend's with EMO, doesn't mean that emo gets an advantage. 100% guaranteed if I posted a thread about disliking someone else that know one knew, I would not have gotten any consequences. So why should it be different.

If you kick a man's pet dog, he will probably get pissed and beat you up.

If you kick a dog the man doesn't know, he will probably frown upon your actions and tell you to at least stop.

man = WD
dog = Emo

if you didn't get it, Emo and WD are friends. You mess with the mod's friend he'll mess with you back.

This is where your wrong. World Domination is tired of people flaming Emo, and in the thread where you guys went at it you both recieved the same punishment.

You getting infracted for the thread, I completely stand behind him. I think that you knew it was going to lead to more flame, and it was a direct attack at Emo.

You answered 15 percent of the thread. Anyways, back to the Emo situation. It wasn't going to lead to more flame, it could have been resolved with a long-life friendly relationship. We would never know, and making assumptions isn't really great at all.

Well World Domination did what he thought was right, and I agree with him. I don't think you had intentions to make friends with him. If you want to patch things up with him talk to him on MSN. Flam all you want.

Infractions to members are at the discretion of the moderators; regardless of the rules.

The rules will be updated once I get a chance to do that, at the moment my main aim was to start the sections off and get the members settled in (eg, email addresses, passwords etc) Not everything can be done in a matter of eight days.

We wouldn't need to have word censors if you were acting like "young adults". The fact is there are immature shits that ruin it for everyone. Yes, it's annoying but if you can't speak properly like a normal person then we'll treat you like a child.

Where did you read this rubbish from? We don't expect RSF members to get along at all, regardless of the "emo situation" if you constantly flame someone because of their beliefs/lives/religion then you'll receive an infraction for flaming. End of story.

Basically, you just have to know when to shut up.

I was involved in the situation being discussed, but I shut the hell up before it led to anything worthy of infractions.

You other three just don't know how to stop talking shit.

I think gravedigging should only be allowed if it is a worthy dig. If it is pointless, it should still be taken care of. THe rest of the rules are fine, as I see it.

Maybe you other guys should follow in Ian's footsteps. It's okay to have a little fun picking fun at people, but eventually it goes to far; like now. Ian knew when to shut up, you guys didn't. You guys got warned/infracted; he did not. It's not that hard to grasp the way things work.
