Spammed by IE's!!!
This morning when i clicked on the skill calcs thread in the feedback section i got spammed by internet explorers bout 35+ of em!
Then i couldnt log onto the site for bout half an hour. y did this happen? its never happended before. p.s i posted this here coz i thought it was an issue with the forum. if its in the wrong section plz move

I don't know what happened, but it's happened to me before too. Once I saw it starting to spam opening IEs, I manually turned off computer and unplugged the internet cord just to be safe :p. I don't think it's anything bad though.

No idea, unless you both have some sort of virus. I'd scan to be safe.

I ran a virus scan and a spyware scan as soon as it happened . Both checks said nothing found. And i use a firewall.

I've never had this happen, to me, at rsf. I think you had another webpage open that spammed a whole bunnch of ads. Hopefully there isn't a problem with rsf. :eek:

nope no other webpages open. all the new ie's that opened were trying to load the skill calculators page that i mention before

Hmm I highly doubt it was something on RSF. I would rescan your computer, make sure the definitions are up to date and then if you dont find anything maybe grab a different scanner and check with that. Also this happened to you before and if you go back to the skill calc page can you get it to do it again?
