Warning takes away reputation
I was thinking that users should also have reputation taken away from them when they are warned.
Reputation is USUALLY<<< hard earned, Meaning users don't really want it removed.

a warning is ment to just warn. a infraction does take away rep.

Correct. A Warning is an official warning, nothing else, once they receive an infraction rep points are taken away.
