Well, today I bought 2gb of RAM, and I really notice the difference. (Upgraded from 512)
I am buying a new video card soon. Need something nice for Hell Gate London.

Nice, My cousin just got 16GB RAM, It's awesome.
He made it with a lot of maxed out stuff as an Insurance company had to pay for it and he ordered the best parts etc. :P

That's not true.
My friend has 3 computers that have 2 motherboards, and 8 ram slots on all of them. RAM cards come in up to 2GB, so it is completely possible. Pretty expensive and pointless though. You'd NEVER need that much physical memory.

ummm... a 32bit o/s will only allow u to use 2gb of ram. 16gb is useless unless u have windows xp 64 bit. im not going to tell u to get vista cuz thats just stupid :|

It's still useless even if you do have 64Bit... There would never be need for that much ram unless you wanted to run like 15 full screen games, a browser, messengers, and other miscellaneous programs all at the same time... lol.

Sweet. My birthday is coming up soon. Hopefully I get what I wanted. A car and a new desktop, as my laptop sucks to me now lol.

If you have a windows XP it was a waste for 2GB, the max it holds is 1GB so basically the other 1GB is useless ram =/
