Default Web Designer or Computer Engineer?

They are my two options as my future career. Which one should I choose to work on?

Well you should look at what you enjoy to do the most.

design web pages or work on computer programs and etc.. Salary should not influence you to choose. I mean i would rather want to wake up to something i enjoy rather than something i don't just for the money.

You both have a good point, but the pay of course does play a big factor in my descision...

If I did Web Designing, do places hire them for work? I mean somewhere you can go to every day to make websites?
Could I make websites with Fireworks, Flash & Dreamweaver instead of coding the entire thing?

If I did Computer Engineering, what should I learn? I believe places do hire these type of people, but for what type of work? Making programs?

I think the job market is extensive for computer engineering rather than web design. I mean its basically the same with more education than a programmer job. I think you would make quite alot but learning to code would be difficult sometimes easy.

Web designing is much easier and can sometimes pay more then computer engineering. I am going into Computer Programming but I am doing Web page Designing as a hobby, and I am making money off it, also. You can make anywhere from $1 - $1000 USD for building a website/web page template. I am making a whole website for one of my local construction companies and they are paying me $300 for it.

So I'd say go into Computer Engineering but do Web page Design as a hobby, and make money off of that, also. That way it is a win-win situation.

Why does have to MSN? Too secreto for the forums? If you don't want people to find out about something, post it at RSF.

Ooooo nice idea

Can you explain to me what EXACTLY a computer engineer does though? I have a rough idea what it is, but I need to make sure.
