Making URL's Shorter

A Guide By Phaethon

Jansen told me about this website, and I thought that it rocks, so I decided to make a guide

First, have a url that you want to make shorter. I will be using:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ih=003&sspagename=STRK%3AMESE%3AIT&viewitem=&item=130078685765&rd=1&rd=1

Now go to www.tinyurl.com




Put you link in the text field, and click "Make TinyURL"

You should get a page like this:




The link in the black circle, takes you DIRECTLY to the page of your URL.

The link in the red circle, takes you to a page like this:

I reccomend www.dot.tk lols. (Much shorter and easy to remmeber than tiny url)

tinyurl is a different type of service than that.. this is just so you can put stuff in your signature without it being too long, etc

You have a "," in your URL so it doesn't work.
