File Locking?

Is there a way to lock access to a file on the computer with a password?

I know you can prevent access to files and folders using certain programs, but it depends on how much you want to protect and how much you need it.

Is it incriminating evidence or sexually explicit material?

One other option would be to RAR it up, using a password and hiding file names, then merging it with an image.
This makes it look like an image, (with the image still visible and looking 100% like an image) but still openable inside WinRAR as an archive.

Indeed there is, works best if you use an external program though.

You could just set a password on the client. It will then require a password to open. To set it, open up the user options, press the lock, and enter a password. It will also encrypt the account info by whatever the password is.
