I prefer XP but I'll be moving to Vista Ultimate within a few days so I don't care what either do now

Not necessarily, I've been running it smoothly on my brothers PC for sometime, no problems whatsoever, just a few tweaks to appearance etc. so it runs a tad smoother and that's it.

I'm using Vista right now, and there is nothing wrong with it apart from the fact that a few programs won't work with it. Still waiting for Zone Alarm to get itself updated for Vista.

Yeah most programs will work with Vista as long as they aren't old school 16 bit programs.

Linux. If i had to choose a windows operative system it would be Windows 2k. Vista is just plain crap. Slow and inefficient. You get the same appearance in Linux without any performance leaks at all. Oh, and you CAN play all windows games in linux. It only requires a little tinkering.
