I know nothing about computers so soz for dumb question

Why do i only got a 40gb hard drive or w/e. That is like nothing I thought you normally have 100gb hard drive

There are many types of hard drives, and many sizes. You probably bought your computer years ago, when 40 gb hard drive was average. I suggest you go buy a new one.

Since your computer is older, it probably used an IDE hard disk instead of a sata one. I just bought a 160 gig IDE HD from newegg for $62 including shipping. It is awesome.

yep definetly buy a new computer.. your computer is really old.. like my dad gets a new comp/labtop atleast every 2 years.

Yeah, you can get something decent for like $700. SATA, 160gb hardrive, 512 RAM, legal XP:P, 3.0 ghz. Etc

I usally upgrade my computer in sections. so bsically my graphics are 1 year-ish old, memory: 2 years old, etc.
