This sucks so much!
My main hard drive on my computer died. It had been making wierd noises for a year now, and 3 nights ago it just died. My accumulation of 2 years worth of software gone. Among what I miss, Photoshop, Sony Acid Pro, my entire music collection and a bunch of games....

Your hard drive was making weird noises and you didn't think to yourself, "Hrm... maybe I should get a new one." Or at least, I dunno, Back-up your files?
I can't feel sorry for you. Your fault completely.

Well, You had 2 years on that hard drive as well, the seems like a long time to go without formatting it even once. Maybe that's just me, though.

Well that stinks. At least you will have something to do for a while (get stuff back) :/
Learn from your mistakes etc. Next time, you will know, weird noise = BAD

The only noises my computer makes are the good ones. And one of the many fans likes to growl sometimes, which makes my cat want to attack it.
