Default Making animated GIF's from movies, help please

Anybody want to help me? I did try and attempt it a few years ago with Adobe Imageready and a .mov format of a movie.

So basically, here's want I want to do:

I want to make a 15 second clip of a movie into an animated .gif

If you have the DVD or video on your computer get a screen recorder like camtasia record what you want and then produce it as an animated gif file

This doesn't really help me. I've never used recording equipment ever. Thanks anyway.

Try hypercam. You can convert .avi files into .gif's.

use hypercam or camtasia like other people said.. theres some others out there i can hook ya up with a keygen if you want

Just record the screen with camtasia or hyper cam at the part you want to convert into a animated gif.

If you dont want to go the easy way with a screen recorder I guess you could try taking screen shots frame by frame and making it animated in Adobe Image Ready/CS3

Alright, I'm gonna look into it. I'll download Hypercam when I can.
