Hey people, im thinking about upgrading to windows vista, but not sure which version i should get. I have 1gb of RAM, 100gb hard drive, 1.6 GHZ centrinoduo processor. I'm leading towards home premieum. What do u guys think?

Windows vista is a memory hog your better off with xp.

Yah without at least 2 gigs of ram its going to be bad for you. Stick with windows XP or go over to Linux.

Yeah, Vista will not run smoothly with 1 gigabyte of RAM. Stick with Windows XP or switch to Linux (Peronsally, I use openSUSE, one of many Linux distributions).

I have 1 gig of ram and Vista and it runs fine, But it could be better..
