Default Need suggestions.

I need a suggestion for an operating system for my dedicated server. It can be any system, windows, linux, or unix. System stats are quite extravagant - no limits in this section so very open.

What I'm looking for is an operating system that can handle the most connections, most work, most stable, but also looking at max features also. It doesn't have to be perfect.

Recent Ideas:

Redhat Enterprise
Fedora Core 7
FreeBSD

Freebsd is the most widly used I think. What will you be using the server for? Find out what the best OS for that usage would be.
