Guitar does have more possibilities IMO, eg. a basic drumkit: two toms, 3 cymbals, floor tom, bass drum (Maybe a double kicker) and a snare. Average guitar: 6 strings, on average 24 frets, thats approximately 144 different notes, not including chords/power chords, then you have harmonics, a shitload of effects, bends, vibratos, licks, pull-offs, hammer-ons etc.
I'm not saying drums are shitty (first comment was sarcastic I always joke with Chase about it IRL) but to me Guitar has way more possibilities if you know what you are doing.
Drums can be very exciting with an experienced drummer, for example watching chase on a single kicker making it sound like a double (seriously thats sweet), but to me guitar is still a more creative instrument.
Thats my opinion anyway
