Default Obama media hysteria

Can't they shut the fuck up? Even worst here, I'm talking about the British press. I'd spare a thought for Americans who also find it nauseating but I simply can't put myself through it. They're feeding us more about Obama then anything related to the British government. Then again all to report in the mother of parliaments would be a guy picking his nose, many people asleep, the public disagreeing with everything, Cameron being a tit, Brown laughing, Clegg saying something but nobody listening of course and everybody staring at Alistair Darling's eyebrows.

The media and the government live in a different Britain, on a different planet, that's pretty much established by most of the British public. Sadly, that was a reference to their mindset.

Alright, fine. The USA is the superpower on Earth and any nation that goes against them is obviously one of menacing evil... Right? For example, Big Bad Vlad. So the media coverage is expected, of course too - it's a great country in it's own right.

But isn't anybody finding it all a tad racist? Ironic, in my opinion considering the history. A Black man... Wait, hold on. Dare I say it? Mixed race. And people celebrate Obama being inaugurated because he's "Black".

WTF. Captain! Our hypocrisy levels are critical, it's just too hypocritical!

I couldn't care less if Obama was Black, White, a mixture of both, or a monkey. If I was American, I'd care more about his policies then his skin colour. But whilst we're talking about skin colour, according to Wikipedia (could be wrong) the White population of America voted 44% Obama - 55% McCain. Blacks voted 95% Obama - 4% McCain. The other races voted favorably for Obama, with a spread of around 30%. This is the new America where race isn't an issue. Sure, they are a minority, but lets say if the year was 1979, McCain would be president, because of a smaller minority population. I'm not against Obama, I wasn't for McCain nor was I for anybody else. Congratulations to him for his promotion to admin. But whoever thinks race still isn't an issue in la-la land, they're kidding themselves. Most of the Blacks obviously just decided to vote for their ethnic champion to take over the world without a care for what he stood for.

But back to my rant about the media. They need to shut the hell up. Last thing America needs is to become all "multicultural" like our nation. These people need to concentrate on issues at home, whilst Americans may be our friends, they are not our countrymen. They are foreigners that despise taxes and love liberating others even when they don't want to be liberated. See 1812 for the earliest example, or 2003 for the latest.

We're bored of Obama, because we've had him before. Let's hope he doesn't leave the White House with the amount of popularity our one had when he left 10 Downing Street.

We're rid of the W. Great. But we don't need to be force-fed Obamamania.

Good news is, BBC has finally stopped with endless Obama coverage. The main headline is now... What a joy to be British. How about some good news?

There you go people, something for you to actually read.

*listening to the Obama report on TV*
...

It's funny how people say this is one step further towards unity amongst all races and stuff, yet they keep pointing out that he is black, even though he's only half and was raised by white people.

Amazingly enough though, the population of blacks in America is only 16%.
I see where you might be getting annoyed, I don't think we even give British the time of day on our news.

Oh it's in Britain I assure you. Hell, we were getting a ton of the American election before it started. All that democrat candidate business.

I don't care about the USA not giving us anytime in their news (why should they?) but this country needs a firm kick up the arse. As much as our mainstream politicians and media would love it, we are not the 51st state. And as long as this country is a democracy, we never will be. (until then, we'll be a state of Europe instead, though that isn't of choice neither)

It's probably done on purpose though, highlight America, and people will forget about our problems. Or so they would like us to think. Either way, the frenzy needs to stop here.

Yes pest, I knew. Pretty damn ironic if you ask me. Black skin, white man. (oops, I'm a racist)

Then you're fucked.

I can't see it being as bad as our country though, where displaying our own flags can get us fined or arrested because it may offend "others"

The American economy is failing as it is, but if their flag market went down, they would really be in trouble. ;)
