Christianity = Better person?
Even if a god does not exist, does being Christian make you a better person?
Look at everyone that is Christian, if their god does not exist is it still making them a better person?

Being a Christian doesn't make you a better person, but many things that the Christians do make you a better person. For example, you don't need to be a Christian to help someone out on a bad day. Christians are supposed to do that, but you don't need to be a Christian to do it.

If anything being Christian makes you a worse person than you would otherwise be, on a large scale. Most of the Christians I know are racist assholes. Some Christians are better because of their religion, but I think on a large scale it really has nothing to do with it, you're gonna be a prick if you're a prick and your religion doesn't change that.

I would doubt it. In most cases, morality is inherent in people.

In fact, this question to me is absurd. It seems to go no where and only suggests that people who does not oblige to Christian rules are indeed inferior to Christians. And "if you're a christian will make you a better person" is true, then you might as well as kill off nearly half the world's population (not sure about half, but a good chunk), because they don't qualify as being a "better person". In a sense, this whole idea only contributes to Christians and themselves.
And me? Mark this, I HAVE NO religion. And don't confuse me with Atheists, because I'm not, I HAVE NO set of beliefs to believe in only "serving the world" by living and continuing what I usually do. I find this quite well, and I find believing in something ethereal when there are only circumstantial evidences present to support the fact that it exists to be absurd.
So are you telling me that since I have no religion, I'm clearly not a Christian, that I'm inferior compared to Christians?

The question in no way implies that being a Christian makes you superior to those that are not Christian. It simply asks whether people that are Christian are better people than they would be if they were not Christian. If you answer, 'No,' then nothing of the sort is implied in any way.

It restricts their freedom.
All religion is a lie anyway.
Think about it... Some magic man in the sky looks down at your EVERY move, if you are GOOD then you go to eternal happiness... If your BAD you burn and suffer in hell for all eternity. It's the ultimate form of control isn't it?

That is perhaps the most ignorant post I have ever seen. It really sickens me when people who cannot grasp the concept of religion (which is fine) make ignorant assumptions that lead to misconceptions about religion.
God is not a "magic man." There are two types of pagan "magic": incantation and sorcery. Magic is defined as "Influencing the gods to do your bidding." Incantation is magic through nonsensical words (spells.) Sorcery is magic through movements (magic wand, etc.) Because magic is "Influencing the GODS," I ask how God could influence himself by muttering nonsensical phrases. Not to mention, god said "Let there be light." Which is not at all nonsensical.
Not to mention Christianity does not have ANYTHING to do with if you're good or if you're bad.
If you believe that Jesus Christ died for your sins and that he is the one and only son of God, you will go to heaven.
If you do not, you will unfortunately burn in hell forever.
I lost a lot of respect for you, even though I don't know you that much, when you made such an ignorant post.
