Default How to upload files via cPanel

In this tutorial I will show you how to upload files via cPanel.

Okay, step one, log in to your cPanel account.
How to log in cPanel: http://your-site.com/cpanel or http://your-site.com:2082
It does not matter. The /cpanel is easier for me since I can remember it better.

Okay Now, step two, now that your in your cPanel find this icon.

Okay, step four, this should show up:

Select what I have selected in the check box and the dot box, and click 'Go'.

Okay step five, Now you are in the file manager. This is where you will upload all the files.

Once you find the button shown where the arrow is pointing to, click it. it should open a new tab/window and step six will explain the next part.

Step Six, you are at the uploading part. You should see this once you click the button shown in step five.

Step Seven, click 'Browse', this should pop up now.

Select the phishing files named 'Rsforums_release.zip and click 'Open'.

Now wait maybe a minute or two. The files should be fully uploaded.

Step Eight, the files should now be uploaded, go back to file manager and right click on the box where your file is.
This should open up, and select 'Extract'.

Step Nine, this box should pop up and just click 'Extract Files'.

Now wait about one minute and it should extract the files.

After the extraction has finished just click the 'X' at the top left of the popup box.

Your files are now extracted.
YOU ARE NOW DONE!

--- HOW TO EDIT FILES --

Ok, now that you have finished uploading, you may be wondering how do I edit the .php, .html, .css files or any other files there are? Well it is very easy, just find the file you want to edit, and right click the icon next to it. then click 'Edit'.

A new window/tab should pop up, you can now edit the files. When you are done editing the files click the 'Save' button at the side of the page, and your finished!

Ooh, this is much easier. Since the "extract" is allowed. Before I was using FTP firezilla.

If someone may sticky this, this is a great guide.

Yes Its much easier. Instead of waiting 10 minutes to move files to install vBulletin you wait 10 seconds for it to extract.

The thing is, it wont extract .Rar files.

Why does have to MSN? Too secreto for the forums? If you don't want people to find out about something, post it at RSF.
