I respect soldiers but what's your point?

Obviously in comparison Hitler was a monster and McCain isn't, but I was just using Hitler as an example of those who would vote for somebody who is patriotic without a care about his, or his party's policies to the post I quoted.

I wasn't saying Vote for McCain just because he was a war hero. I was responding to Ian's post about how he has done a lot for our country.

He is nothing in comparison to Hitler because McCain has been a Senate since the 1980's.

Reece is right. People who say "I voted McCain because he served for our country and is more heroic and patriotic" annoy the shit out of me.

Just because he was originally elected into power doesn't mean he didn't corrupt that power and become a dictator.

I was going to comment on that but I think I'm not completely correct.

Didn't he merge the Presidency and Chancellery (I think that's the right word) together?

I don't remember exactly.

I think it's similar to what Putin is doing now in Russia though.
