America would be better off with a sack of potatoes as president.

What people don't realize is Obama promised change. What change? He never said. He never said how he'd bring change, he just said he would.

McCain wasn't a better choice, but the problem is that no one realized they weren't the only two choices.

Mccain shuld have been elected because he took pride in his country. Obama is scared of the American Flag and refuses to wear it.

McCain should not have been elected.

You're as smart as the rest of America.

People voted for Obama because he's a liberal candidate. They think the conservatives fucked up the country, so they believe a liberal can fix it. The truth is, politicians fucked up America, regardless of party affiliations.

Why not? McCain took great pride in his country (Just got done readings a few of his books this week). Obama hasn't done much compared to what McCain has done for our country.

I feel that the only reason the election swayed Obama's way is because of his attributes not his real concern about America. Recently I heard that more troops were being sent out anyways.

So you would vote for McCain just because he's patriotic? Not because you agree with his policies?

Would you have voted for Hitler too if he roused you up with a sweet little speech about your rights as Americans and some flag waving? Go back to the ranch.

How I see the American elections though is like this:

The American people didn't vote Obama because they agreed with what he was saying, they just didn't want a Republican in office because of W.

Plus Obama was called Black instead of "mixed" race which he really is, for the minority vote. I say minority, but the numbers of minorities are increasing there and with a Black president, the amount of immigrants will only rise.

You've hit the nail right on the head. I would have voted for Obama, regardless of his race. McCain just didn't seem like a good president to me.
